You sure it wasn't the other way around, and the hat was an homage to the movie when Supreme made it? Cause they had only been around for a year when the film came out, and probably opened while it was filming...and I doubt they were making hats and shit from day 1. My guess is the hat came after the movie, like well after.

The director Larry Clark had an eye for skateboarders in newyork, hence the cast memebers like Harold Hunter and such. Those extras @ the fight scene were probably kids from the new york skate scene. And Supreme was a skate shop in newyork back in the days. Movie is so ill....

Yes and a lot of the kids in the fight scene were my friends from SF. A lot of people from EMB flew out to be in it like Lavar Mcbride, Drake Jones, Nick Lockman, Spencer Fujimoto & a few others. I would have tried to make a cameo too if I didnt have to work. I use to roll tuff wit the original Supreme team Ny heads, grew up skating with them cats.
Peep this OG photo of me with Harold Hunter and Justin Pierce Aka Casper around the time kids came out.
Rest in peace my brothers you are truely missed.
