I'm a 5'8 155lbs and a medium was a little big on me but that's because it's meant as a layering jacket. You should be fine with a medium, plus there's draw strings to tighten the fit.

so im looking into getting a field jacket. I am 5' 7" and about 175 pounds muscular built but i wear Medium for a fitted look like h&m and banana fitted M shirts. What size do you guys recommend? Small or medium?

I came home today to find my new jeans had arrived. Upon their arrival, I was super excited. They're the Straight Legs. The only other raw denim I have had has been Uniqlo S-002's (current), APC Rescues (years back) and APC NS (for less than two weeks, bought too tight).

After opening these and inspecting them, they are fantastic. The amount of detail that the folks at 3Sixteen put into them definitely shows. From the gunmetal rivets to the super-thick Tanner Goods leather patch (I love it!), these are pure money (....and they don't even know it - haha).

My waist is in between a 33-34, closer to a 33 and I ordered a 32. My thighs are pretty big from lifting weights but I find the fit to be spot-on. While they are a little tight in the waist and thighs, I know they will stretch up to an inch and a half and am not worried about being able to sag (ya gotsta do it).

I will try and take pictures at the end of the week so you guys can get an idea but take my word for it, these are great. The denim is heavy, stiff and the quality is exceptional. The pocket size is great and they definitely have got their signature model at great sizing and pricing points. All in all, this is a great pair of denim. It's my first piece from 3Sixteen and I now am sold. I've always liked their designs, approach and quality of work put in but now that I see first-hand, I will continue to check for new releases, etc.

Also, Self Edge - easy ordering experience, thumbs up.

I would like to publicly apologize for sleeping on 3sixteen lol. In the past few seasons I've seen nothing but quality work. Very good shit.

Scotty you been sleeping man! Yea the new line is going to be fresh. Just watching the video and Andrew's post gave me an idea that I'm going to be broke this fall for buying most of their stuff. I love Fiberops and the simplicity that Alyasha has on all of his lines and 3sixteen sorta reminded me of that but of course 3sixteen has more versatility to justify today's trends.

Is the Monsoon jacket waterproof/water-resistant at all? Really digging the Khaki.

Hobbes, the Monsoon is not water repellent - it's just a straight cotton ripstop. We liked the feel of the cotton as opposed to a nylon. I'm doing some research on what it will take to buy cotton ripstop and then treat it for water repellency while still preserving the hand so that might be something you'll see in the future (no promises).

This has absolutely nothing to do with 3sixteen, but if you're online right now our good friend DJ Muggs is spinning live...

It looks like they're doing this weekly - every Thursday from 4-8pm PST. Definitely worth checking out.
