I have been into bad brains since Supreme release their shoes.

Don't know if I missed anything but what's the difference with these and a GR Vans? Don't see any special materials or colorways, embroidery, etc.

I don't think it's absolutely necessary for the kids to listen to Bad Brains to be able to enjoy the vans or the shirt.

I'm sure there's a few kids who might now go check out Bad Brains because of this collab which is cool too.

I think its necessary, its wearing a band tee without knowing the band.

I never knew who bad brains was, and even after being exposed im not much of a punk rock fan though i do love reggae(BB fans could point me to some dope reggae tracks). I did cop the vans, but only b/c i thought the colorway was sick... but like you said i would never rock the shirt if i didn't know who they were. Id feel mad fake on some poser shit.

That's not the point. If you wear a band shirt and you're not a fan of the band, you're a fucking poser and that's it.

I don't think it makes you a poser, I think people can wear it just because they might like the way the shirt looks.

I skate and I don't get mad when other people wear skate shoes.

But, I could see how it would ruffle a few feathers of longtime Bad Brains fans, doesn't bother me though.

There's a big difference between wearing skate shoes and a band shirt.

you're right man you're right, but still, you and I know that a majority of the kids buying Supreme stuff this season don't recognize all the hardcore/punk references.

They probably are posers to some extent, but it's their body so they can wear whatever they like.
