Not sure why it has not been put on the main page yet but I saw the preview on High Snobiety.

highsnobiety.com/home/the_daily_news/archive/2007/august/09/triko_fall_07_collection_preview/index.htm?tx_ttnews%5BbackPid%5D=27&cHash=c93e61eee2

Here we present you the Triko Fall 2007 collection. The brand has not only graphically proven what they can do in their last couple of collections, but mainly they have presented some really on point cut & sew pieces. That trend also continues this season in their new collection.

In terms of design the collection has a good balance between screaming loud colorways and really subtle hoodies, jackets and stadium jackets, that stand out with their cut and simplicity overall. The collection consists of t-shirts, lots of hoodies in different styles and cuts, denim, jackets and more.

Make yourself a good picture of what will be landing in stores shortly and check out the complete Fall 2007 preview after the jump.

Some really nice stuff, liking it quiet a bit.

triko's a very interesting brand; but i feel it lacks an identity, cause it doesn't know if it wants to be a streetwear company or a high-end fashion type of company, cause the pieces are all random and don't seem very well themed. i think they're better at making the more formal pieces, because their streetwear pieces seem very derivative and forgettable, like 2nd rate 10 deep and lrg knockoffs.

nevertheless, some nice pieces. i really like that asymmetrical hoodie on the top.

now sometimes it's just coincidental, and i guess it doesn't really matter anyways cause everyone bites everyone else, but it would have been nice to see a little more originality. now last winter (look it up on the archives), they had some really hot shit that was original and cut and sew.

but

this bites diamond

and this bites 10 deep

wow, exactly what i was thinkin UKingdom

As i was scrollin down the images, my interest would shift, and some pieces just wouldnt mesh with others. Like it looked more upscale, then i start to see the cement print hoody, then that shit ont he jeans that looks like shmack x diamond (which will never happen).

I unno, seems like theyre just another company trying to appeal and go with the hype stream

The "T" crew neck isnt bad but those splatters make it look sloppy.

this dont always mean that they biting...Remember Great Minds Think Alike....because i came up with some designs that i see other lines come out with a similar design...it happens...

Also Remember most lines have their designs done seasons before it is released...or the public get a peek at it...

Triko is fire! point blank period. I dont think they lack identity. I think they are human. Sometimes you wanna get sharp other times you wanna have fun. Why should a brand have to be stigmatized. Always be loud or always be bland.

I really dig the Pacific Northwest Indian art style crewneck.
