[FONT="Palatino Linotype"]New Era is opening a flagship store in NYC on May 20th 2006 at 10am. It will be located on East 4th Street b/t Broadway & Lafayette. There are mad exclusive hats (I should know. I work there.), sizes up to 8 1/2, fitteds made for women a kids, and tons of other stuff. Come check us out!

honestly I don't see whats gonna be that great about this store. I own over 400 hats, and have been to almost every worthwhile hats store on the eastcoast. As a company new era hasn't insipred any of their own innovation around their products which have spurred their growth spke over the past 5 years. All the concepts that have made them popular were pitched to them by small stores and brands. Total sports reinvented the pinwheel, supreme made it cool to have a sreetwear collabo, and the list can go on. Left to their own devices new era comes up with dumb shit like timberland boot hats, rhinestone logos, lether patchwork hats and so on. The whole concept of the store could work to alienate the people that have actually worked to build the company up to this point.
