Saw this in store and it's pretty light weight. (flimsy)

If you want to keep warm, look elsewhere.
Uniqlo claims it is weather resistant though.

On another note, anti-fast fashion uniqlo is starting to get into the camo print market too, as evident here

Kawped the black ma-1 jacket today in store in SF today. Its definitely not heavyweight n bulky like some of that style are, but for $40 you cant really go wrong. Def wont be able to find another quality ma-1 jacket for that price anywhere soon. The mountain parkas looked pretty good too for that price point too

also that was my first time at the uniqlo in sf and its pretty fucking dope

I agree with the mountain parkas.

They look sturdy and solid. And selling out of sizes fast.

do they run big? the measurements on the ma-1 suggest that it fits a little big...how big are you and what size did you get if you dont mind me asking

i think it fits like most uniqlo outerwear - which is small. i'd size down. depends whether you want fit or baggy look tho

Oh cool, a Uniqlo thread. Been wondering if any Uniqlo peeps lurk HB..... shouts to my Powell store people if ya'll are on here!

But yeah the MA-1 is dope. And it's getting hot in SF, but an M-65 joint got in last night thats really nice too.
As for fit, I bought a medium, and I typically wear a medium. Fits nice but not too tight on me. I'm 5'9, around 150.

It's not very warm by itself at all. You'd definitely have to layer.
