Parka arrived today, got a chance to look at it today before work and shit is pretty as fuck. Assuming it fits alright, the thing was a steal. The beige color has a sheen to it that makes it look sort of gold. Thanks for everything.

there are pockets there, but there's a thread binding the pockets closed. you need to cut that thread with a knife or scissor or something.

we didn't get the pockets sewn shut on purpose, it's just a technique that manufacturers do for easier assembly and shipment. it also would've taken a lot of our time to cut open each pocket by hand.

It's definitely a little short, but not to a fault. I also have a little trouble with the zipper. Other than that this thing is comfortable as fuck and if it's still up don't sleep on it. Size up if you are at all questionable. I'll take some fit pics tonight and post them after dinner.

Ah, fuck. Be really careful when cutting open the pocket, I opened up the interior lining rather than the pocket. The side with the more visible seams (at least on mine) was the one I shouldn't have cut.

Apparently the sewn pocket is somewhat common after doing some research. They say you're supposed to cut the thread with a seam ripper or a small nail cutter. upvote is right, manufacturers do this to hold up it's shape.

Fits look fine to me, btw. Nice and fitted. Can't wait for mine.

its really nice. but when it came my parka felt kind of damp and wet? And sizing up is a good idea, im 5'8 130 pounds and i got a medium and its too small to layer with for me
