I hate to be so tough on the Diamond brand because it's something I've messed with for a long time and a label I've been into long before it hit mainstream.

We don't have access out here in Canada like y'all do in the US to this stuff and I used to jump at the chance to pay $60 or $70 for a t-shirt just so I could get my hands on a sick design. My closet is full of designs like the Iron Maiden tee, Legends pack, Diamond Kings, Puro Pari, Harassment, Ridin Neon in every CW I can find ... tons of other classics too. I don't know how much I've dropped to be able to get my hands on Diamond stuff but nowadays I don't even look forward to the new drops.

I look at the summer drop and I legit see maybe one shirt (I Art You) and a couple other things (the sweat shorts, mainly) that I would cop. Until I remember that with the way Diamond prices their stuff nowadays, it'd probably cost me $130 for a tee and pair of shorts shipped to Canada. Then I get amped up for that black tag Diamond tee that got posted up there. Until I remember that sadly, a black tag product inevitably means some ridiculous $50-60 price tag without even factoring in shipping.

Disappointing more than anything. I'm not even mad. I'm glad Nick is making his money. Just feels like as much as he wants to deny it, he's forgotten about the true fans and sold out to the mainstream.

Diamond needs the old snapback manufacturer back where the top of the snapback was pointy and the bill isn't as wide. Been a good 2 years since they've had a good snapback shape...
