If it's a collab, I'm guessing you're referring to the Black Scale Black Friday shirt

Bought an Engineered to Destroy hoodie on Karmaloop and I couldn't stop wearing it. Looking forward to 2013 and seeing what's in store for Mishka. The Winter beanies went hard though, still thinking about ordering one.

the keep watch mixes are sooooo boring. bass or dubstep that's it. how about jamming some of the punk, crusty, metal, new wave etc elements of the label. even if its just the classics.

this is exactly what i'm talking about why aren't these happening anymore? can you do a keep watch and a doombox series? there's tons of your gravewavey friends that you guys write about that can easily put a more interesting mix than all of these UK bass/dubstep/grime clones. flipping through the last different mix was by Creep in July 2011! just asking for a little variety good people.

I don't think there's a lack of wanting to release more diverse music.
The way I understand it, mixes are awkward for genres that are not programmed...
They do hold a certain charm, but you're essentially making the music work for you instead of letting it speak for itself.

There's a lot more genres to be found on Mishka Records, because they just fit better on album format than in mixes: http://mishkanyc.bandcamp.com

I'm sure there's a lot more decision-making going on that concerns with the format...
Add to that the obvious popularity of electronic music, which works in everybody's favor, and also the fact that kids making this kind of music are much more pro-active than the others, both in terms of making tracks and reaching out to the brand for collabs...
