Last night, my Dad came over to my house for dinner. Funny, cause when He rang the door bell, I saw him wearing an old, beat ass champion sweatshirt and my jaw literally dropped. I quickly opened the door saying "Holy shit Dad, is that Supreme? Where'd you get that?". He told me he wasn't sure what I was talking about but that He got it like 10 years back as a birthday gift from my Grandma . I couldn't believe what He was telling me. I mean, I was seriously floored that my Grandma was repping Supreme back in 2002. I knew she was originally from New York but I had no clue how connected she was to her lower east side roots. I'm missing something in this story. I don't get it. Your dad was rocking a Champion sweatshirt...what does that have anything to do with supreme? was your dad wearing a Supreme sweatshirt printed on a Champion? how would you know he was wearing a Champion when you were opening the door then? I mean I'm certain Supreme wasn't collaborating with Champion back then, they might have printed on Champion sweats back in the day (I don't think they were still doing that back in 2002. they were using CYC by that time.).
