Edit: for those wondering about why its priced so much, it says its a water resistant corduroy cotton shell so i guess the corduroy is why they priced it so high.

agree with kitty that they never have enough detail on their clothing. they probably know kids are gonna buy the shit anyways so theyre probably just like, 'fuck em' (hah)
i'd love to see a close detail of the cord fabric as well as the inner lining of the tnf jacket. they didn't even show that the m-51 had a lining and it’s way thicker then you thought it woulda been. you figure you'd wanna market that shit.

anyways, skipping this tnf collab. It’s okay, but not $300 for a shell kinda okay. the fabric is the only thing that differentiates this from any other tnf jacket at some sports store. well i guess the slimmer fit and the supreme patch on the arm. regardless, no fucks given.

M51 was $298 and was £250 in uk so I'm guessing it's gonna be around that. Plus it is a collab. Very excited about this. Just hoping the quality is on point as well.

M or L?
Not tryna fit a hoodie or big sweater under it.
Prob gonna go with M, my L 8-ball and M-51 only fit nice with a hoodie underneath.

And to answer Kitty's question, yes there is a zipper and buttons, I would also guess a removable lining with that price tag but not 100% sure since it's a shell.
On second thought, might not even bother since the price is high but who knows, got a couple days to get my cash together.

very disappointed. After going through pictures of previous north face jackets and seeing all the unique patterns/ color combinations this is totally a let down. There is zero uniqueness in this jacket. While yes the corduroy material is different, it has been done before several time by other outdoors companies like patagonia. It almost seems like a copout where instead of actually trying to develop something they just decided to do a different material on solid colors. i guess after fucking up ss12 tnf the wanted to play it safe. But even playing it safe, doing something as simple as adding the small dots like on the pin dot could have totally made this piece. all in all i have nothing against it and will still consider buying it but it wasn't the jaw dropping thing i was hoping for.
