What was the reference to the mushashi I tee??
Miyamoto Musashi. Arguably the most overrated swordsman in Japanese history but that's neither here nor there. His uncle was a teacher of students in Japan. He killed a grown man at 13 in a duel. He left home alone a few years later. Went around challenging people all the time. He had a knack for arriving late to piss off his opponents. One time he was being set up by musketeers and archers and "knew" it would happen. He arrived like five hours early and massacred a bunch of them. Fought in countless bloody battles that most didn't walk out of. He killed his dad's murderer later on when he was older. He went around just dueling a ton of people, usually using wooden swords. He fought in like 60 to 65 duels and never lost.
His most famous duel was with Sasaki Kojiro on an island. Musashi arrived late again but killed Kojiro. He apparently killed him with a wooden sword that Musashi had carved out of an oar on the way there. Kojiro was known for using a technique that gave him incredible reach but Musashi carved the oar just long enough to hit Kojiro and not get hit himself. He dipped out and Kojiro's friends tried to attack Musashi and chase him but the tide got really bad shortly after and they couldn't chase him on boat. He also wrote the book "Book of Five Rings".
tl;dr: This cat was the real deal and the best swordsman to ever grace the planet according to stories and myths. People said he had "unseen forces" on his side.
