I understand theyre gonna be limited as hell and avaliable only at AlifeNYC during the Friday midnight release but WTF @ those prices
75 each for the frankenstien and mummy new era
100 each for the matching shirts

i dunno man....true the shirts are one large print and shit but like....all around this shit doesnt look THAT good....i guess thats all opinion though but i will NOT be shelling out 75 for a new era, nor will i be shelling out 100 retail for a shirt with a picture of the mummy or frankensteins face on it really big haha....but be prepared for the resales of these

When did streetwear retail overtake couture retail?

Yall sayin fuck alife are buggin out for real. Alife been the shit for years since back when I used to stop in from Breakbeat Science trips. I wasnt even into gear like I am now and the vibe was always ill in there. They always had fresh exhibits, kicks and artists choppin it up in there. These guys been on it since the begining. Would I rock any of this limited pack? Maybe the mummy fitted. But they always come fresh and new, and next season when people "really" hop on the holiday exclusives the haters will be eating it up.

its funny that people are bitching about the prices on these items but no one bats an eye to the prices of a bbc or ice cream item. if a regular shirt from them is 50 bucks, im not surprised it doubled since they had to use sublimation to print those shirts.

i was surprised. because the mummy & frankenstien fitteds were only $50CAD @ the vancouver store....and they've been out for like over a month.

the sad thing is, the general public will think u bought those tees/caps at: a Halloween shop/Target/Spencer/JC Peney. I dunno about u guys, but check the designs of some Halloween tees at ur local Ross/Walmart/Marshall's....they seriously give "streetwear" brands a run for their $smile Personally, I wouldn't shell out $75-$100 for those Alife clothes since I'd stash them in the closet after Oct. 31.

i bitch about ALife because i respect ALife and (at a lower price) would cop ALife, whereas BBC and Ice Cream i dont even care about lol

and i agree, the hats will be mistaken as halloween store cops, but with the full outfit it might be understandable but for the price i just dont fuck with it

the price really ain't crazy crazy to me personally, but I just think it will scare off the average new jack streetwear consumer, who, as the owner of a well respected streetwear shop said to me, "are cheap as shit and don't know dick about real quality". Like maybe if this it got the cool guy hype up, but at the moment I'm guessin they'll sit on shelves.

Beyond that the thing that I'm really not feelin about the stuff is its juts a pointless concept. I think anyone wearing that wold look like a fool

it does also seem like Alife's greasing a lot of rapper palms just to stay relevent, but i'm interested to see what amazing pieces the future holds according to step

these guys are going corporate, they see their shit (and other company's shit) reselling on ebay for double the price and they want in on the action.

Anyways Alife dosent put out much that interesting. Yeah they had the wu tang hats and shoes but come on it was just a wu logo on a black hat. The only reason it was hot was cuz it was sooo simple and repped the wu. Any company could have made that. The rest of their shit dont seem all that great.

Also the holloween hats are cool but yeah i wouldn't pay that much for a holloween hat. I dont know what they are thinking but the shirts look good but not my style to wear an oversized print of a holloween character.

For once though i gotta admit the plastic new era they are dropping looks fresh as hell. But seeing the prices of this holloween crap i can only imagine what they will want for the plastic new era. Honestly, this is the only thing i would get from this company. they just dont make shit as hot as some other clothing companies. they really need to step their game up.

I guess streetwear is all about making a (few) bucks. wack.
