Yo
I started this brand called Cavotu (pronounced Cav-Oh-Two) back in 2005. I have always dabbled in the art game since I was a kid. After filling my brain with advertising, marketing and graphic design skills in college, I decided to take a stab at the lifestyle apparel market. Over the years, I have released several seasonal collections that included mostly tees, hoodies, hats and socks. I have maintained the DIY motto since the beginning but my family aka Team Cavotu consists of surfers, skaters, and musicians who represent the label on the daily as we continue to spread the fire.
I took a hiatus from Cavotu (my first baby) to focus on my life as a new father. I now have two beautiful children who have turned my world upside down for the better obviously. I have been a long time follower of Hypebeast but I have never reached out in the forum world. I have yet to finalize my calendar dates for the upcoming release of my new collection but I hope to get some use out of this thread to discuss some designs, ideas etc. Thanks for taking the time to read my first post.
