I doubt they want to have the stores show a significant profit before allowing everyone in the country to buy their stuff.

the pop up store isn't that great. Too crowded, limited selection, and people on the floor keep asking if you want to sign up for their email newsletter.

Had a chance to check the new Uniqlo yesterday. I had to wait in line just to see lightweight down jackets all over the damn store. I was expecting more pieces from the Uniqlo website.I guess i'll have to wait for that.
