how do the slim straight jeans fit? is there a little more room than some 511's? looking for a slim fit but not as skinny as the 511's.

General idea on sizing for crewnecks/flannels? TTS or down 1?
safe bet is to go tts but if you're willing to try go 1 size down then try; i'm a true med. but i size small for better fit.

@caleb91 the slim fits are decent fit. as good if not better than the levi 511.

^ there's a comprehensive sizing chart on that link buddy.

1) get a tape measure
2) grab your favorite pair of chinos (not chinese kids)
3) measure your chinos the way they tell you to on the uniqlo website
4) write down those measurements
5) compare them to the measurements that uniqlo posted for their pants 
6) repeat with another pair of chinos that fit differently for further estimation (if needed)

Not at all.. these are basically Chino versions of the Straight fit jeans from Uniqlo. To achieve the slim fit you'd have to size down, or get it tailored.

This. I bought a green Oxford from Uniqlo recently and it's perfect. Great material and great cut, nice and slim.
