Yes, it's a Samurai Champloo reference and the term "Hellhounds for Hire" is the episode title for a 2 part story in the series. In fact, I'd say it's two of the best episodes from the entire anime.

you guys should print on some bics. they're always classic and easy to do. plus i collect them.
