I think it might be to avoid random people just wandering off the street and copping, like it goes with the whole 'gotta be in the know' mentality. If you know about it, and ask, they will get it out for you if there's stock. But might be completely wrong.

Actually its not about who wears it and when. If that shit dont sell on the drop week, like in the actual store not online. Then they put em back out, do you know how much stock of each item there is ? Sometimes they put out shit randomly, and only like 10 of each.
