I couldve sworn I heard from a few different sources(maybe even from the brand itself) that huf wasn't going to be able to stay afloat due to the economy and that was the main reason why they closed their stores and the only way they could really grow and continue making the kinda shit they wanted to all along (high end cut n sew pieces/footwear) was if they started selling to places like zumiez and ccs. But ya like mikeyd said, it doesn't really matter tho cus those stores only carry their basic shit, your not gonna find anything that great at those places.
It was a lot of things, a big factor was the cost of the spaces they had and the limited product they carried. As much as i miss the huf store they've been able to do so much more stuff since they cut the stores out. But by no means is huf falling off
