aiiiight i hear dat, but its kinda misleading, i mean look @ american apparel, that shit is manufactured american style so if i shop there i know what im getting. maybe the shop should do a modern day african twist with more colours and patterns, like the navajo trend. trust it would fly off the shelves, i know so many africans in the uk that dont want the high street look and would like modern african clothing to show their heritage.

Thanks for starting this thread
Here is some pics of our new collab with Japanese artist Ken Kagami .

Ken Kagami is a Tokyo-based artist.
He creates strange pop drawings and sculptures conflicting ideas of childish naivety with sex and violence . His international solo exhibitions include SNOOPee at The Journal Gallery, New York (200cool and HELLOWIEN in Vienna (2006). Kagami's work has also inspired San Francisco based independent rock group, Deerhoof (Kill Rock Stars) and has served as stage, costuming and album concept material.

River Rats 2 By Ryan Travis Christian fro African Apparel is now out

Ryan Travis Christian creates scenes of monochromatic psychedelia with his graphite-on-paper works. Christian's images are constructed using abstract elements (pattern, and organic smoke/vapor like formation), comic utilities (like sub panels and motion lines), vintage cartoon iconography, and pop cultural references. He pairs his artistic practice with curatorial projects. Christian lives and works outside of Chicago, Illinois.
