Don't cop the Virgils, they'll be too big for you - basically they're a true to size shoe unless your a 10 and you should be okay with a 9.5 but sizing up is a no no.

As for those boots, unsure what the reason behind the high is - possibly new treated suede or just Vis felt like they deserved the high price tag. They'd be roughly

From the image I posted, they looked a bit strange with the bulky foot but narrow ankle area although as pointed out, it might just be the image. Price scares me off greatly though, way too much for me especially since I barely wear boots as it is due to the climate here; 2 months of wear a year doesn't justify itself with the price to usage ratio.
