Hey Ive finally got my money right and im looking to buy my first pair of visvims (possibly 2.) I was wondering what would you guys suggest as far as either the hockney or the Yucca Moc Folk i really like the boat shoe look. I checked on the Humanbehaviour site and they have the Yucca Moc Folks in my size but it says its a pre order item and i was a little confused because i thought those already came out s/s 11 do you guys know if theyre site is up to date? I dont want to send payment and them not have them.

Also, do any of you guys own the Flynt lo from s/s11? I really like those 2 i just dont know how they actually look on foot or in person ive only seen pics

^ Yucca moc has already dropped and most places have sold out already... Flynts are nice if you can pull them off!

checked out the store earlier today. shit was stupid. fucking highway robbery... might as well buy direct or through proxy. i think it'll be more expensive with NY tax and fare expenses.

as far as pics go, the ones provided earlier pretty much sum it all up. the only things not visible are the foleys.

All in all: (Prices are from memory so may be off a bit)
Oxfords: $672
Chinos: $560
Virgils: $1300+
Patricians: Didn't even bother looking after seeing the Foley prices
Foleys: $1100-1400 (Looked like the cordovan ones)
Jeans: Blah

All in all disappointed. Thought they would have fall accessories already and more merchandise overall, was tryna cawp a watch-cap and subsection candles.

Anywaysss, if anyone is really desperate for some stuff. I can do picks-ups. Just pay for my fare ($25) and shipping to wherever you are, and add more for that crazy 8.875% NY tax. I'm in the city for the next couple weeks due to some appointments. Donations of any amount for my trouble are welcome if you choose to do business mayne.

i would assume 1-2 per size. the offering looked more like hiroki is just testing the market to see how things sell.

the only thing i really asked about was the chinos, and they said they had more sizes in the back. but i called it off before he could go look because i wasn't paying for that shit. the tax is around $49.... that's shipping overseas right there... plus i already spent 200 on food alone lol

If Hiroki is indeed just testing the market, it really seems poorly done.

Prices are scary and I forgot you guys in the states have sales taxes, makes things even worse. I'd rather grab a few pairs of Uniqlo chinos and have them tailored perfectly to my liking and still would have prob more than $400 from the NYC prices. Really seems a bit too much, Visvim doesn't have a cult following in the states like it does in HK and I don't think the prices hike is justifiable to consumers. FIL HK retail is considerably higher than JP retail but how does Vis figure out B+G prices? Especially when soon enough, Vis will open their online store up to the US; even if it is just select products.

The Oxford's released thus far can be had for about $400 with fees and shipping. It looks like the B+G margin is the highest Stateside, a bit more than Webster.

I would think most of their stock is going to sit there for awhile. Anyone ready to drop $700 on an oxford probably has no idea who Vis are.

I believe Bergdorf is going to be the only retail store that carries Visvim and the only reason they got em was cause of Wooster.. Since Wooster is basically a huge fashion icon nowadays, he loves Visvim, always writes about em and being the Creative director for the company, he got visvim there.. I guess he was going back in forth with Hiroki for awhile trying to get Visvim there and finally succeeded.. Nit sure how well its going to do been then again rich people do liek to buy new expensive things, that are out of the ordinary!

clarification
I've seen members suggest the website humanbehaviour as a place to order visvim products. However, when I check the official visvim website, I do not see it listed in the Hong Kong stock-list. They have a disclaimer stating to be aware of unauthorized sites etc. So is it safe to purchase from sites like humanbehaviour when they are not listed on the stock-list?
