I don't know about you guys, but I got the migraine of my life trying to work on a design for this contest, lol. Fooled around with PS and Adobe Illustrator trials for the first time ever 'cause I thought of some ideas for this contest. My hat goes off to those of you who were able to make even the simplest designs. Not sure what Nick is looking for, but I think most all of the submissions look inspired by Nick's designs and what you thought he'd like, so that explains this "lack" of originality. Nothing but love for Nick and Diamond Supply Co., but if we're going to get into this talk of originality....one could easily point out the similarities between Diamond and Polo. I don't have a problem with it, but I've always felt that part of the fun of Diamond Supply Co.'s apparel was how it parodies other luxury brands. So I really can't say that I find any similarities between you guys' designs and Nick's designs to be deal breakers, but hey, this ain't my contest. Diamond's still my favorite brand, though, I'm just sayin. You guys' designs are more than worthy IMO. Don't taze me lol.
