Anyway, I'm looking into their khakis. Anyone have experience with their fits?

i have over 150 items from j.crew im a jcrewaholic. and even though they claim to be tailor-fit, slim fit, its really not. if you really like j. crew button ups, i suggest getting ur normal size and get it tailored yourself. sizing down would be uncomfortable, especially when you try to button up the neck.

I would HIGHLY suggest their bowery pants. They are slim fit and tapered, knee-down. They are great pants, just wish they had better colors!

Ohh its definitely not just you. That we can agree. It's also not everyone because that'd be naive. I fit TTS in most Jcrew clothing. I've never had to tailor anything from them. Sure some clothing might need to be tailored ON YOU, but that's not gonna be the case with everyone.

JCrew, Urban Slim khakis fit amazingly. Theyre a little more slim than whats considered fully skinny, but if they were Levi's they'd be in between 514s and 511s, erring a more on the 511 side.

I love J.Crew, F/W looks pretty good.

Cosign, FW10 is the strongest collection they've had in a while. The only mall brand I even look at any more.

THAT SAID, Rugby chinos > J. Crew chinos. Same price point.

i still wear my jcrew chambray all the time, and the officers chinos from a few years ago are great too... but alot of the stuff is kinda cheaply made. i see it as a place to get cheap disposable basics for the most part.

Yeah, a lot of their stuff is unnecessarily expensive for the product, but if you know how the product sizes you can almost always find it way cheaper online.

your best bet would be to try them on in store preferably...

but if you have any other shorts 7" they should fit similar, all on body type really.

i'm guessing the model is wearing them true to size? cause i'm looking for something a little slimmer than that fit i was just wondering if sizing down 1 - 2 would work for me.

I am actually wearing these right now. Mine are a size 30 and I am typically a 28, but that's the only size they had in store and I was fine with it. Mine look a bit longer and stop right above the knee, but that is most likely because of the fact that I sized up and have short legs. To answer your question if you are looking for something similar try something else or size down because most likely that model is wearing it true to size.
