Can't wait for the lightweight hoodies!!

I got another question though, not pertaining to this brand nor sunglasses.

I've been looking into getting a Nikon D90 for a while now and finally saved up for one. Just the D90 body and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. Not sure if I should get it new or refurbished. However, a couple people were telling me not to get it, but instead get a Canon T2i and some glass. Main reasons were for the video, the fact that its newer, and the big MP difference. What are your thoughts?! I would be using the camera for mainly pictures, not videos, however it wouldn't hurt to shoot a video once in a while. Let me know what you think.

Oh, and I been wanting this camera for a while now, but I don't want to make it seem like I'm jumping on the bandwagon of getting a DSLR. Hella people been tellin me that I'm just gonna be 'another wannabe thinking he's a photographer cause he got a DSLR'. Thats not my intention though. They're too hard headed and it bugs. smh

Lol, anyways, let me know what you niggs think.

P.S. Any reputable camera shops around the LBC? I'm moving back in two days and want to get a camera around there. If not, then online I guess.

I'll try to answer in the same order:
I was looking at upgrading from a d60 to d90. The main edge of the d90 is it's extremely fast, which is a good feature to have, but not crucial. From what I understand the d90 shoots HD video but only in 720p which although good still isn't too great from what I've seen on youtube. A 50mm lens is good but is only one focal length and is mostly good for close-ups.

I ended up choosing the t2i over the d90 which for 3 or 2 bills less came with a decent ass lens and has 1080p video which from what I've messed with so far is dope as hell. Not to toot my own horn, but I actually used it to shoot the lightweight hoodies. You be the judge of the image quality. I myself am more than content with the image quality, not to mention you won't find another camera with 18 megs for under a g these days. My only complaints about the camera would be that night shots can get a bit noisy and it's more on the slow side, but I manage. I have to say I think I made the right choice over the d90.

As far as what others think: fuck'em. As long as it's something you're passionate about it doesn't matter what anyone says. Just avoid corny flower pics blushing

As far as shops in LBC.. I can't help you lol, sorry. Hope that helps

I'm a size medium shirt and 30 pants. I wanted the mister x aristocrats shorts and the short sleeve oxford in brick. Is brick pink?
