what color do the natural belts usually age into? and the saddle tan?

I'm guessing from the pictures Roman gave natural ages into what saddle tan looks like, as for saddle tan it just turns into a dark brown.

sounds about right... also, its important to note that every single item will patina according to its owner.

It's gonna be different for everyone. There are a large number of variables that account for how our products age.

This is partially due to the influx of highly reputable stores with a large online customer base. We cannot undercut our family of Tanner Goods retailers. It's just not a wise practice for a business like ours. Really though, we didn't raise the prices by that much. It does deserve some explanation though and I'm glad you brought it up Misterpoop.

We're very adamant about selling our 'goods for an honest and fair price. We will never ever raise our prices for an unjustifiable reason.

That being said, each time we release product, we strive to construct and sell something that has substantially improved over the previous incarnation of said product. With product development comes the eventual increase in cost due to a variety of different factors that come into play throughout the innovation process. While our belts originally used to require 3-4 steps to complete from start to finish, there are now 10-12 different steps we must go through to complete a belt from start to finish. The extra costs come into play because we are making a better product than before. The packaging, branding and finishing of the products are also much more expansive than ever before. All or these things cost money. We've tried to keep the cost down as much as possible but in reality, a Tanner Goods belt produced today costs far more than any of the products we've ever released since we started.

I hope you guys understand the reasoning behind this. We're not going to be out there trying to nickel and dime you. These are products we believe have a significant life span. They are meant to last as long as possible.

hopefully there's a discount on belts

Don't worry, the promotion will include everything on the site.

Much to chagrin of their fans Tanner Goods has discontinued their Scout Belt. The Scout Belt was one of the most popular and versatile belts in Tanner Goods arsenal and continues to be one of their most talked about items to this day. Join me in a effort to bring back the Scout Belt via petition.

Good to hear! We're going to be giving away something different this year... Just as nifty. So take note ;)

The pictures online are extremely accurate representations of the color. The only thing that is hard to translate via pictures is the handle and texture of our leather.

depends on whether or not you are a true 28 waist or if you just wear a size 28. Do you have another belt you can measure?

Do you have a belt already? It can be any belt... You just gotta measure one that fits you already. It will help you determine which size you need.

I know its kind of a silly question " If I had ID, I wouldnt need ID " but it will help a lot.

we've started sourcing our black hardware from a different fabricator. Should make quite the difference with the powder coating.
