Yeah no problem. The black buckles are a nice contrast on the natural hides.

How long does it usually take for production & shipping for a wallet?
August 05, 2010 @ 03:48:54
yeah first belt purchase, and hmmm i think ill go natural with black belt instead thanks

i bought natural/black, it looks a little strange cuz the contrast was so strong at first... but once the natural colour starts getting darker more towards a tan it'll look much nicer

and im expecting it to look even better when it gets to a brown state

Will settle for a normal TG one for now
August 05, 2010 @ 14:18:02

It can vary depending on how deep our production queue is. 2-3 weeks is what I say. Anything beyond that just means we're super-extremely busy.

If you are unsure, email me blushing

anybody recommend some good products to maintain leather, oils an such?
August 10, 2010 @ 14:22:23
Neets foot oil is recomended by us to revitalize and condition the leather over time. Itdoesn't need it right away but after a few months, it certainly goes a long way in keeping the wallet going.
August 14, 2010 @ 08:36:43
Um....what I don't understand is why my package was delivered to a post office instead of my house... now I have to venture to find which post office it is at.

i don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but i bought a bi-fold maybe 6 months ago and its a quality wallet. however, for some reason its a pain to put cash in, it either sticks out, or creases getting in. i had the original bi-fold with the 2 card holders that went in through the sides and didn't have that problem.

i'd like to order another bi-fold in a different color, but i'm wondering if that's still an issue.

I literally just got my bi-fold and I was surprised at the quality. Tho I am also having this sort of issue, then again I have to break it in and so far the wallet itself creased a little in the middle after I put my cash & cards.
Is there any recommendation on how to break in the wallet slowly? Like being able to put more cards into the card holders.

I use Oakwood Leather Conditioner from AUS for my current leather goods.

How are tanner belts?
Do they have slim ones? like 1" inch?

I'm looking for a money clip too, similar to SlimClip
September 21, 2010 @ 22:22:09
^ I believe they do have a "skinny" belt. Peep the website

For the next leg of "Americana explosion", One Trip Pass, our good friends Jay Carroll, Ned Martel and Joey Yie have temporarily setup shop in Los Angeles, California.

Curated with a distinct selection of American made goods and products, the One Trip Pass pop-up retail shop is now open to the public at 833 East 3rd Street in Downtown, Los Angeles. They'll be around for a few days before the continue their great expedition of the west-coast and the old frontier.

When the guys passed through Oregon, they commissioned us to create a limited set of Tanner Goods products for "One Trip Pass"

Constructed of rich veggie dyed English Bridle, the deep chestnut-toned Saddle Stitched belt and Key Lanyard are each limited to 12 pieces respectively. Each product has been embossed with custom insignia, symbolizing their journey along the great expanse of America, and finished off with a black edge dye to match the contrasting stitch detail.

You can purchase the goods today in LA, this weekend at the Ace Hotel in Palms Springs, or at any of upcoming stops.

For the Fall Winter 2010 season, we produced another round of Hand-Stitched 13 oz Premium Belts for the fine folks at 3sixteen. Just like the first batch, these belts are constructed and finished entirely by hand in Portland, Ore

Available in limited quantities on the 3sixteen Online Shop.

When Tanner get's these Special order's or request from stores do all our orders get put on the back burner? Is this why it takes so long to get our order or even an email?
October 21, 2010 @ 15:52:25
nope, I certainly don't ignore emails either.

We produce lots and lots of product everyday. Our retailer orders account for a lot more product then the online orders. Usually, it is the other way around. We focus on online/in-store orders and retailers get the back-burner.
