Man.. I guess I respect the PAC sun thing but I'm disappointed. I don't think its really a good look for diamond either, but to each his own.
March 30, 2010 @ 12:06:47
helllo famous. lmao
March 30, 2010 @ 12:13:36
i dont agree with diamond being in pacsun but at least they are getting half assed designs...right?
March 30, 2010 @ 12:21:46
Fuck it if diamond goes to pac sun it's alrdy at zumies and that shit is in every mall. The tee's this year have been |0 !! Expand into the jacket game!! make us a north face collab or a diamond letterman!!! Get some tiger camo in the mix!! and more collabs this year would be dope.
March 30, 2010 @ 12:25:07
you are basically telling diamond to be another supreme bro
March 30, 2010 @ 12:29:26
pretty much..
March 30, 2010 @ 12:42:36
Diamond X Currensy 55 shipped.. size XL anyone?
March 30, 2010 @ 12:46:23
I don't get it what's so bad about pacsun or zumiez? Is it the customers that you hate

The entire concept of it is what's terrible.
You basically shop to attempt to have some lifestyle.

What ever happened to the sanctity of exclusivity? Isn't that what streetwear is supposed to be all about? SMH. At the end of the day, the all mighty dollar always wins. Rogue Status said it best - "anyone is an enemy for a price".

it all doesn't matter. it just matters how you rock it. lifestyle is about how you live not necessarily how you dress. people can wear the same shit differently. same complaints originally arose when karmaloop first started selling diamond. there's always gonna be other upstart brands with limited ish if people have such an issue with exclusivity.
March 30, 2010 @ 14:00:30
One of the main reasons I rocked Diamond so much was that the designs are unique, and I would NEVER see anyone else in it. I can see why Diamond would do something like this though, and I guess I can't blame them. I'm just a little disappointed. Tags or no tags, it's still Diamond.
March 30, 2010 @ 14:34:46
Hey i have a brand new MM Tee in tiffany size S if anyone is interested let me know.

Thanks

look at the online shop, doesn't the internet ruin exclusivity? all it takes is a mailing address and a credit card
March 30, 2010 @ 14:46:13
what does everybody have in their coin pouch? currently i have a lighter and a swisher blushing

The coin pouches are big enough to fit a swisher? i'm looking at one being rolled rite now, and it seems like it would be a little compact.

on another note..just random sh!t....

..just got back from a vegas trip. First night after 4 blunts, 3 coronas, and the majority of a costco patron bottle. I woke up the next day with some yak on my puro pari tee =( . Damn good times. Also, the d.blue HOF fitted is a hit with the females.

For years, people have asked me why all my shirts say Diamond at the hem. Now thanks to Pacsun, people will finally recognize the brand, but they'll also see legit heads wearing the true heat, and they won't know where the hell to get it. It might make it that much sweeter.

this

im startin' off the day with a blunt of purp, no pancakes just a cup of syrup

On the topic of exclusive'ness, I like to think of it like this. Diamond is like Nike. Nike is almost in every shoe store imaginable, but only the cool people know where to cop and rock the 'good' stuff.
March 30, 2010 @ 15:11:22
^^Exactly.

I hear ya, but that's inconsistent with the fact that people can type in Diamond Supply Co on google and get the search results in 1 second, and in turn find the same heat you or I have whether it's in the 24 hour store, or catch hold of the exclusive site when something drops...

True, but how many of them will actually be willing to pay for it? Most of the kids at Pac Sun are still wearing the same dirty ass shelltoes they wore in high school.
March 30, 2010 @ 16:46:48
that's the way the business is. If your the owner of a clothing brand like this you'll do the same thing. You can't please everyone and by the end of the day it's about making $$$. New customers and publicity means more $$$. Oww wells what can we do...

I'll still continue to support DSC (couple of spring2 & summer &) )but now a days I'm more into collecting OG pieces from them. Besides there are still other brands out there that continue to blow up.

Still tho, I may not buy as much as before but Diamond Supply Co. is still my favorite brand.
March 30, 2010 @ 16:59:16
wouldnt you be bummed if we let Pac Sun carry all the exclusive designs that you have access to? I dont see why having no tags, and basic designs would be a problem. We are differentiating the PacSun Items from our regular and exclusive offerings.

BTW University Crewnecks are flying out of the Flagship Store.

As well as Mined Over Matter Tee's and OG script Tees. Come by and pick yours up before they are gone!

I agree who cares where its being sold at. Just cuz the customers at pacsun are gonna have access to generic diamond gear dosent mean there gonna be fresh...they still wont rock the t-shirts, hoodies, crews with some dope jeans, kicks, belts, fitteds etc..just make sure your dipped dont trip off anyone else
March 30, 2010 @ 18:28:11
How is the fit on the university crewnecks?

Anyone got measurements on a large by any chance?
March 30, 2010 @ 18:35:55
i would assume the fit is the same as the other diamond crewnecks

For those who are only concerned with wearing something exclusive instead of the designs, why not just make your own shirts? They would be exclusive, right?

I understand you don't want to go to the mall and see 8 other people wearing the same shirt, but at the end of the day it is a business.
March 30, 2010 @ 18:44:40
just got that diamond blue/blk croc coin pouch... shit is buttery smokeyface
March 30, 2010 @ 19:15:44
Lots of leaky vaginas in this thread.
March 30, 2010 @ 19:15:48
Its simple commerce..If a company doesn't sell enough product they go out of business.

All you guys that are screaming this exclusive shit don't buy enough product to keep the lights on. The stores like Pac Sun, Zumiez, Karmaloop etc. move units and make it easier for a brand like Diamond to do more limited projects and open flagship stores for you guys to enjoy.

Tons of high end designers make affordable lines for chain retailers i.e Jimmy Choo for H&M, Mossimo & Converse One Star for Target. If the brand have to feed their family off you guys alone then the prices would go up tremendously.
March 30, 2010 @ 19:43:01
what about the people who want to rock diamond but cant get the exclusives because they live in small towns and shit?
