Went to my unit's OIF Memorial site today. Hard to sum up in words how you feel when you're there, but I took some pictures. There was a woman there leaving flowers and a Happy Birthday balloon next to one of the names on the wall. Thought you might appreciate this one, Jay.

U.S. ambassador to Iraq Christopher Hill, reporting from the new $600 million US embassy in downtown Baghdad (just opposite Burger King), said the results suggest, "We can safely say that Iraq is now the 51st State of America."





('Peppering the LZ' or landing zone was a term used a lot in Vietnam. Before landing troops, Amerikan helicopters would clear out a landing area applying gunfire in and around an enemy position to suppress it. This same tactic was used on a grand scale in Iraq which once had the 4th largest military in the world. Over the years, through political interference, a phyrric war with neighboring IRAN, UN sanctions, British and Amerikan Air campaigns under President Clinton, 2 invasions Iraq was softened up enough to were all we had to do was drive our supply train straight into the Capital, praying you didn't run over and IED, of course. A war is when TWO armies meet on a battlefield.

This exchange in 1990, was a clear sign the United States was planning an overthrow.


[Under Article IV, Section Three of the United States Constitution, which outlines the relationship among the states, Congress has the power to admit new states to the union. The states are required to give "full faith and credit" to the acts of each other's legislatures and courts, which is generally held to include the recognition of legal contracts, marriages, and criminal judgments. The states are guaranteed military and civil defense by the federal government, which is also obligated by Article IV, Section Four, to "guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government." New states are admitted into the Union by the precedents and procedures established by the Northwest Ordinance. Following the precedent established by the Enabling Act of 1802, an Enabling Act must be passed by Congress as a prerequisite to admission. The act authorizes the people of a territory to frame a constitution, and lays down the requirements that must be met prior to consideration for statehood.]

This declassified document is one of many detailing US influence in Iraqi affairs. From Iraqi banking laws, construction contracts, border disputes, crude export to it’s war with neighboring Iran, Amerikan involvement in Iraq began decades before Bush|Clinton waged war with Saddam Hussein. From meddling President Nixon then Ford, Invasions by George HW Bush (Desert Fox & Storm) 8 Years of bombing in the NFZ's ( NO FLY ZONE ) by President Bill Clinton under Operations Northern and Southern Watch, The Bombing of Baghdad also under Clinton finally ending with Operation Iraqi Freedom under George W. Bush the plan for Iraq was no one leaders adventure, but Amerikan policy. The plan hatched way before most of us were paying attention. In most cases the Amerikan public, as always, was bamboozled into blaming each other for a conquering war we ALL supported at one time or another. The Iraqi's are now patching together a government compliant to the rules, paid in full and under the watchful eye of the United States.
