I'm excited to see how the tee's turn out, Jay. And I'm glad to hear that your mom made it out of those events okay. She must be a pretty strong woman after experiencing that.

I was thinking after basic of getting a WTC tattoo, not anything huge, just something subtle (I.E. the times that each tower fell in military time) or something like that. Something where i will know what it means, but someone else won't really unless they ask. More of a personal thing than for show if that makes sense. I'm not from NY and have never been, but I still feel like it was a pretty significant event in my life. It was in my opinion our Pearl Harbor after all.

Yea, she's pretty tough. The people who experienced that day have a different take on it. It's important to see that side of it as well. No matter what your 'theory' is or what your politics are it's not something that's not up for debate. I find conspiracy theories childish at best for the most part, this tee is more about the buildings themselves and what they meant rather than the actual events of 9/11.

Definitely. I've seen so many of those conspiracy theory documentaries and not one has managed to move my stance on what happened. They are all so one sided and leave so much out that is just plain FACT and would go against what they are trying to portray that I can't even take them seriously. And that's a dope pic. Where in NY is that mural?

Yea. it's not even an issue now to be honest, which debunks the effort behind the whole 'small change movement' to begin with. Where are they now? you don't hear a peep from them now that we have a new President. you can make a theory about every event in history doesn't make it true. If they were so true and steadfast in their beliefs wouldn't they fight until the 'truth' was revealed?

The mural is in Bklyn.

..and I am working on a [Pearl Harbor] series, It will begin with [Arizona]

Exactly, it's because it wasn't so much as them caring enough or really wanting to know the "truth" behind 9/11 as it was them just wanting to make Bush look bad.

Have you posted that tee before? I seem to remember seeing it posted before, but I definitely like that one as well.

fuck em. It's not over by a long shot, we've got a long haul.

Yes I have been working on this one for a long time. After the Colasa collaboration, I'll be bringing these out with another artist from Asia. This time Japan, so each shirt with have a Japanese reverse. It's pretty sick, I've been tweeking this concept for a while..

That sounds dope. Have you posted any previews of the Colasa collab? I remember hearing about it and checking some of his work out, but I don't know if you posted any images of the actual collab.

Also, I was wondering what you think about the whole Health Care deal going on right now? I'm watching Pelosi speak right now and it makes my blood boil. I can not stand that lady.

honestly. i dont even know anymore. i think they put alot of shit in it. to get the crooked ass people to vote on it. but i think people with no insurance need something. if i get into a car accident and need multiple surgeries, or if i find out i have some condition and need help, id like help just like anyone else.and creating compitition to lower costs, and taking away the jackass backwards rules the companies have is nice.

MY BIGGEST PROBLEM: hearing the people who are against the bill bitch about the money, people are so worried about their tax money being spent on this bill, but work shitty hourly jobs funding a war with their "tax money", and thats just the tip of the iceberg. think of all the shit you dont know they spend your hard earned money on. healthcare is the least of their worries.

No one knows what's in the bill because it was shoved down the peoples throats on a party line push-in. It's not a complicated issue whether or not to have nationalized health care, it's been tried and it's been a disaster. My issue is having the government control too much of anything is dangerous, and in the past year we have seen this government take control of the banks; the car industry, our education system and now health care. The die has been cast. The debate over 'health care for all' is bullshit. Poor people who can't afford medical have always been covered with the best health care in the world and are taken care of in hospitals at the tax payers expense, no has every been turned away from a hospital if they need care, illegal immigrants included. It's been abused and the insurance companies must take some of the blame, but not all of it. There is a reason why canadians and people from around the world come to America for medical care. Now that will change. along with a whole group of other problems that will stem from this bill because all this is about is $$$ GOVERNMENT CONTROL. Not to mention the effect it will have on the economy long term. This bill turns the national debt on it's head. The country is officially broke. I have been re reading the constitution, and I'm having trouble finding the part that says 'Eveyone is ENTITILED to free shit.'

When the government seizes this much power, there is a trigger effect. Anyone read the Turner Diaries?

truth. and no i havent read it. but a buddy of mine has a copy ill steal from him. most people dont see any of that, or think like that. they think that by disagreeing with it, it makes them better and elitist. and if people are for it, they look like desperate assholes looking for a handout. no one sees the bigger picture. but like you said, it was passed so fast and shoved in, no one gets it at this point.

Yeah the government really took control of the banks)(ROLLS HIS EYES), I really see the lending flowing like wine, our government doesn't control shit, the banks, the medical industry and all the capitalist bullshit special interest groups CONTROLS OUR GOVERNMENT, geez.....

The government hasn't taken control of shit. The auto Industry needed it sorry to say and they still haven't really changed shit the change was coming if GM, Ford and Chrysler wanted it or not, it was just as bad as the stock market, people ballin out while the company is fallin out and all the loans are federally insured through the reserve that isnt even part of our government, so we the public take the hit and the middleman(the reserve) walks away clean. If you call bailing out the banks and auto industry "controlling" it that's a pretty poor way to use the wording BUT when the banks tighten up the credit who gains from it? The banks and the reserve!!!

I am sorry but you can read the constitution and you can see it one way and someone else can see it another. I have read it about ten times in the last 6 months now and it is so wishy washy in it's terms.

I will admit we are losing our rights given by it but I felt more so under Bush then Obama also you all seem to forget THIS ISNT UNIFIED HEALTHCARE, this is a restructuring of the healthcare system and forcing those fuckers to actually allow people to afford it.

I am sorry but a business is allowed to make money like anyone else but when it becomes a unified monopoly then it's just not right.

PS. take a quick look at how many countries have Unified health care!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_health_care

Also do a quick search on Taxes in the UK version income ratio and then compare it to where they rank in quality of life and healthcare.....

totally agree.. I saw zeitgeist, Capitalism sucks.. great, people cant afford something, the Illuminati, new world order/UN/EU gangbang..
Yea I agree, it's all about 'special interest groups' and you will not see banks lending anytime soon.Unify. The people should love this bill then, force the fuckers to give shit away for free. and fuck all those countries health care if it was soo great they wouldn't be coming to the US for prostate cancer surgery. or Israel, where all the special interest groups hang out..

But you're not losing any of your rights. You'll see that one coming..

ps. this is one of my favorite quotes:
