I was going to buy the bbc patch straight leg denim, but im confused about the sizing. I wear a 36, which I thought was a large, but it says the model is wearing a medium and is a size 32. I know sizing changes season to season and cut to cut, and after searching all over I still can't find what the sizing was on the denim. Can anyone help? www.gilt.com/s/after-hours-bbc-1df/product/37589220

Thanks.

honestly, i know that an XL is 38, so if you normally wear a size 36, it wouldn't hurt to get large, but like you mentioned, could be different since this is a different seasons, but i think it should fit about the same as a 36.

How can they justify selling shirts for $80 and some jackets for 1.5k?

These guys prices seem outrageous.

Can someone pls explain to me the reason for these prices and the appeal of these brands?

Some of their stuff is like ok i like that but others are just relly simple looking white t-shirt that says ice cream in black for $80....

Thanks for the info. I ordered an xl last night before your post. I'm hoping gilt actually is accurate in posting their measurements that M is 32" inseam, since that would make an xl a 36".

Yea. But i mean the prices are soo steep they are more about high price and people who have money to piss away then someone actually buying the clothes for the name and story of the brand.

It just ticked me off when i go to the site and the first thing u see is "Wealth is of the heart and mind, not the pocket."

www.bbcicecream.com/store/bbc_index.html

Not of the pocket cause we gave them all our cash?

Is that not incredibly hipocritical or am I misunderstanding?

the quality of the shirts (not the designs) are definitely worth the money in my opinion. The jackets not so much. While you are buying the name, the type of shirts these tee's are printed on are not the tee's the hundreds and other street fashion brands print on. And definitely i wouldn't want any junior high kids rockin BBC. 80.00 is steep, and for years this brand fell way off, they should go back to season zero.
