2009 Thread

Always anxious to see what else Andrew and Johan are gonna drop on us. I would buy basically every piece if I had the money to do so. Here's to 2010!

3Sixteen is almost a brand that I can't even classify as a rising star, as they're already at the top of their game. We've been stocking them over the past season and we can cosign every item 1000%. I've taken a look at the 2010 stuff and you guys are definitely in for a treat. We'll continue to be a 3Sixteen stockist so feel free to contact us if you need anything.

Best of wishes to Drew and the gang over at 3Sixteen, and keep up the fabulous work.

Judging from 3Sixteen items that we've got in the store, I'd suggest sizing up if you're in between sizes. The duffle coat, utility shirt, shawls, etc. always fit a bit smaller than what I see with most other brands. We didn't get the stadium jacket in, but I'm sure there are some measurements at www.selfedge.com

Hey folks - we appreciate the support over the years and are definitely excited for 2010. First up will be the second installment of "A Day with 3sixteen" shot by Sarah Krusen - it should be debuting next week. Keep an eye out for it.

i ended up getting the black. it was a decision i had to make as well. all the olive ones at primitive had all these like wax crease marks already and i didn't know that you could just smooth em away with a little heat (waxed canvas research an hour or two ago) so i got the black. but the olive does look quite nice as well. probably will get one in the future or something.

The 3sixteen & Self Edge Denim Contest

Since 3sixteen launched our denim at Self Edge a little under a year ago, we have sold hundreds of pairs of jeans to many satisfied customers. We decided to hold a denim contest in order to create a gallery of photos documenting the aging qualities of the denim. We announced this contest across all of the forum boards that we frequent and that support our businesses, but it is open to anyone who has put some serious wear into their SL’s or ST’s and want to show off their fades. All rules and details are below.

- All photo submissions are due by January 30th to denim@3sixteen.com. You can include fit pictures and detail shots, but submissions must be limited to 4 images. We will not judge e-mails that include more than 4 images. Also include a scan of your Self Edge receipt or your order number as proof that you purchased it from one of the Self Edge stores. You can also include information about your experience wearing the denim; how many soaks, where you traveled in your jeans, how you got that giant hole in the leg from dropping your bike, etc. Please include your name and your forum handle(s). We will be posting some of our favorite submissions across all the forums.

- 3sixteen and Self Edge will judge the submissions and will announce and notify the winner in February. The winner will be given one pair of jeans of his or her choice from Self Edge and a $200 gift certificate to shop.3sixteen.com.

Thanks for looking and participating everyone! Good luck!

how do the tees fit? im planning on ordering a few from the site or possibly doing the 100$ sample sale. i need to make sure they`re slim fitting though. for instance black scale shirts are too wide and boxy for me.

I should have more to report on re: the boots after my meeting with Quoddy next week.

For those who didn't catch it, there was a nice writeup on 3sixteen in NY Mag's fashion blog, The Cut. It also came with a preview of our SS10 lookbook which was shot once again by Dan Chen at the Ace Hotel in NYC:
