they aren't as thick as normal flannels and you can comfortably layer them, but they also aren't paper thin and are still pretty warm.

for me, the old triumvir shirts in Medium were TTS and the way to go for me. the new ones are a slimmer fit tee from american apparel but better fabric. unless you're in between sizes (in which case i think the bigger size is better), you should stay TTS
