Hey So I just got The Hospister m-65 jacket from the loop smokeyfacesmokeyface...I'm a little new to M-65s so what is the zipper around the collar for? As well the inside drawstrings? Also....in an effort to get some new style ideas...what kinda gear are yall pairing up with jackets like these? ?) Just kinda want to put some versatility into my closet. blushing

Inside drawstrings are there to give you the ability to adjust the jacket for a more tailored fit.

As for what I personally pair with the jacket..... We'll since Triumvir puts clothes on my back and all I really have in my closet is Triumvir....hahah

With an M65 I generally like to layer it with some sort of collared/button-up shirt underneath. I wear it as if it were some sort of sport coat/blazer. Meaning I usually button/zip up the jacket to the midway point to expose my collared/button-up shirt underneath. Since the jacket is black I usually don't go for a very contrasted look, personally I think with black outerwear pieces contrasted shirts/pants put too much attention to the outerwear piece. So with all this being said a typical outfit for me, that consist of the m65 is as follows:

Outerwear: m65 Jacket

Shirt: one of the Maltese button-ups : Grey or Gingham

Jeans:Castor Selvedge Black jeans

Shoes: Some sort of black & white hi-top shoe with a converse/vans silhouette

Thanks for the details! smokeyface

That's exactly how I approached this jacket cause button-ups are a really nice accent. Love the fit and love the style. Half zip for the win! I couldn't help but notice people ( lots of girls eyeing me down) taking a glance at the style. I'm going to pair this up with a black scale beanie in about a week..so dope...I wonder how the quality of the Psycho Brigade M-65 is in comparison?

The Shadaloo Psycho Brigade Collection drops tomorrow. Personally, I really dig how clean the tees are (as always.) You always see ridiculously loud tees when you walk around on the streets and whatnot-- I always like the fact that Triumvir's t-shirts are always subtle and catch people's attention in their own ways. I think this collection is definitely pretty daring and maybe not for everyone, but as Brandon said in the blogpost, it's not quite created for the usual Triumvir consumer and they wanted to create something different. I think my favorite cut and sew piece is probably the flannel as well.

Collection drops Tuesday

New stuffs looking serious! It always amazes me to see how far they've come in just a few years, major props to them. The next step up for them now is going to be even bigger - I think they can do it though

The guys decided to shoot a Style Guide for the Psycho Brigade drop. Definitely focuses more on the clothes than the conceptual lookbook that they released for week03... You can see it on the main page. I had to clear my cache/browsing history to see it. (A problem with chrome, maybe? )

Lerche, what size are you wearing in the m-65 and the hunter vest?

Large, but it fits a little looser since there are no sleeves to restrict how the vest fits on your body. It was designed to be worn with the fleece parka. Notice how the patches on the sleeves of the parka sit in the exact same position as it would on our m-65 pieces.
