At the end of the day they're just shoes and are meant to be worn, I'm sure we all went through that sneakerhead phases are kept our SB's deadstock yet now I don't wear them at all and think, what a waste. I'm wearing all my Vis these days and they all hold up fairly well minus my FBT Lhamos because they're a little bit small. In fact my Virgils look better worn as the kangaroo leather goes from being brown to subtle red hints making them look sick. Logan Lattice also look fairl decent minus around the ankle area but FBT Classics hold up fine even after a week of exploring Tokyo

i agree with you one this, but my thing is my shoe size changes so much, that when i buy those shoes for so much, and have no other money after i buy them, i usually realize that i should just sell them and get vans, because if i fuck them up, they loose alot of value and i loose money i could make back. It is not cuzz i want them to look "fresh" or some shit like that, because i agree these shoes look better worn, it is just i dont want to loose to much of the investment. As soon as my shoe size changes, i wont care, but i now know i need to just get deals on visvim so i can wear them and still sell and not loose to much money.

I'm trying to cop a pair of Black FBT Lattice with brown sole. I found some at visvimshoes.net, does anyone know if they are real? If not, what site has real FBTs? Also, I usually wear a size 10.5, would a size 10 be sufficient for me? Thanks for the help!

edit: or i will be in europe for a month, is there anywhere in europe that sells visvims out of a store?

i tried on sz 10 hockney's the last time i was in japan they were perfect width-wise, but on my right foot they were a tiiiny bit too short so i didn't grab them. do logan lo's fit the same, or completely different - e.g. would a 10 in logan's be alright, or should i grab an 11 as i know 10.5 doesn't exist? like i said, in vans authentics and AM1's i am a US 10 (i could wear a 10.5 in both, though).

Chill dude, I don't think he's hating on you. I mean, it's just his opinion that 16 is a bit early to be getting into luxury clothes, and frankly I agree, I'm just being less vocal about it.

Lame man, when I was 16 I was spending waaay too much on silly shit like Bape and BBC but looking back I was having fun. At the end of the day that's all that matters.

fsck times have changed.. having said this, the internet was around like it is today when i was 16.

i was out on the court playing ball, or eating out, hanging out at shopping centres (malls you call them), timezones (arcades you call them), record stores, shops etc

not on the internet all day long or spending exhorbitant amounts of money on shoes to discuss them online.

dont take it as an insult young pup, each his own, im not judging one bit. i was just shocked at a kid youre age being able to appreciate the qualities of visvim at 16.

alls im saying is, enjoy your youth, spend the money, on your youth.

visvim isnt an "investment" as you put it. its not stocks or gold.

if you buy it and youre happy, then its an investment in yourself, thats about it.

jesus, dont stress about ticket prices at 16. you have the rest of your life to worry about that.

Some serious truth right there in the post above mine.

Vis aint an investment and just like SB's, they'll eventually have no real resell value and people won't give that much of a fuck about them. For the moment you can buy a pair, wear them a bit and resell for basically what you paid but def not an investment; they're simply just shoes in the end and subjected to personal taste - hence why I wear all mine.
