As for the desert boot, I never saw any logic for someone to buy them rather than Clarks. Quality wasn't superior in any way, shape or form.

yeah i feel the same way, only thing i like more is that theres no chunky heel at the end....however if i was going to go for the whole desert boot style, i think common projects makes the nicest

They are going to be higher than japan retail, but just SLIGHTLY more when you factor in proxy fees + shipping from japan (unless you have a VERY good connect). Plus, Japan gets more exclusives, being FIL headquarters.
