Holy fucking shit dude, what a steal. Where?

Shit, if I got some shitty Blue Label brouges for 2 bills, I'd be stoked, I can just imagine the quality on the PL pair.

Ah, thanks! I've never looked at Gilt's RL footwear since their RL clothing selections are generally pretty poor. I'll keep an eye out from now on.

Which is a shame, considering Rugby is putting out the best affordable, non-hype shit out right now.

BUT DERE AINT NO POLO BEAR SO NIKKAZ DONT WANT 2 FUCC WIT IT DOE

RRL is consistently fantastic and Polo blue label has some good stuff, but for some reason, people are fiending over the shitty, ubiquitous polos and rugbys that you can get at outlets?

I agree, it's just weird to me that, in a community of people who like expensive/rare/quality shit, that people are going for the absolute worst quality generic stuff from an empire that really excels in quality and individuality in their higher-end lines. It's cool though, grown ass men wearing oversized outlet Polo Bear and looking like idiots just make me look better.

I spent a good deal of time debating whether or not to get this, but I opted not to. Quality looks kinda shoddy and fleece is sweatshirt material; I highly doubt it would keep you adequately warm in winter temperatures. If it was wool, I would be all over it though.

Eh? Truthfully I'm on ebay getting OLD polo. The new Polo sucks ass,and the new rugby maybe has like 5 pieces to actually look at. They have 1 pair of pants i really want.

This thread deserves to be dead in terms of NEW things because RL in a whole is putting out very normal product as of early 2010.

RRL: Ralph Lauren Rhinelander Mansion
Has anyone else been to the Ralph Lauren Rhinelander Mansion on Madison in NY? The shop is legit and has a lot of deadstock goods. Here are a bunch of pics from the shop. (Sorry I'm a noob so I can't post the URL just yet, trying to get my post count up to 25)

I agree, though I'm still a huge fan of Rugby, probably because the clothes fit me really well and the line's a really good value for its price point. For sure Polo has been bland in recent years, but there have definitely been some impressive pieces and I think all of the Polo lines deserve recognition outside of shitty outlet finds. I really think they're still leagues above most every other company being discussed on this board.

I'm headed to NYC in November and this is the first place on my list to go. There are like 5 floors, each dedicated to a different brand. From what I've heard (and, of course, the pictures that have been floating around), it's the most well-merchandised place in the _world_, so excited just to go in and look around. Definitely hoping to pick up some RRL product though.
