I got stuff from them a few years ago and got absolute raped by DHL's customs charges. I actually paid more in Customs than i did the actual item.
Then DHL wanted to take me to court because i complained.
Totally not worth it.

Yeah I live in France & that happens all the time, but only when the items are shipped by UPS or FEDEX. Never go by customs with usps.

Did you pay custom also for clothes or just for kicks?

I did order something on karmaloop long time ago, and i have paid about 35usd for shipping.

I just know, if u order some kicks from outside EU u have to pay customs, in GERMANY its 15% + 19% taxes, and that sucks (if the kicks are leatherkicks/sneakers, then its 5% + 19% taxes !!!!!)

i got some jeans n they tried to charge me 7 quid a few months ago, didnt bother paying it. any idea what'll happen?

DHL screwed me too
I bought a Rockmith Hoody from Karmaloop, DHL screwed me too. To England it doubled the price of the item....
Karmaloop should have a European depot or maybe send regular post.

i think anything under 30 pounds ( whatever that is in dollars ) is cool.. you wont get charged, but over you do a certain amount depending on size etc.

Definitely. I ordered a couple of items a while back and the DHL shipping was 200 FUCKING US DOLLARS!
In addition to DHL's insanely expensive shipping an import tax of ~35% was added. Protectionism sucks...
