Completely different shows it the sense of demographics, style, and appeal. However, they're both under the comedy genre so I can see the comparison. With that being said, I go with The Boondocks due to it's consistensy and sympathetic touch towards those that grew up in the hood and people alike. Although I do also enjoy watching Family Guy's newer material. More specifically Brian/Stewie combo. There was actually some character development and they mesh so well in the newer episodes. The frivilous knowlege in combinatoin with the situations they (Brian/Stewie) get into is what makes it its own show.

Boondocks. I simply don't like senseless humor displayed in shows like Family Guy, American Dad, and The Simpsons. Boondocks have deep, complex, intellectual humor as well as a social/political message integrated into most, if not all, episodes.

Definitely. That's how I feel about it, too. The comedy aspect of that show matches up with my sense of humor. Also, the episodes educate people while entertaining them. The show exposes the truth of this society. Many blacks hate Aaron McGruder for exposing the dark side of the black community, which is pathetic since they won't be able to evolve without addressing and resolving their problems.
