The movie/OVA I'm talkin about was some anime sentai shit though, not some power rangers, in CG and half drawn. And was in two parts if I remember right.

i barely watch anime but the last anime i watched was puella magi madoka magica, that shit is tight seriously watch it, it's a grimdark sailor moon basically
this season i'm watching akibaranger, which is not anime it's a(n unofficial) sentai series, it's pretty funny even if you haven't watched any sentais before (which is my case)

Man...for the first time in 8 fuckin years i think im getting back in to anime...ive still given up hope on finding something as good as cowboy bebop. Saw trigun thought it was aiiiight but i just watched the first 6 eps of Kids on the Slope and im diggin it so far.

was in the same position a year ago. champloo is dope as fuck. after finishing evangelian, watch that. its got the same feel as bebop

and the series is straight, it's just the last episode was a disappointment. EoE was the best doe.

episodes 1-24 of the evangelion were fucking great. the decline in quality is kind of obvious in some of the later episodes cause of budget, drama, etc, but its doesn't ruin the series. i'd watch 1-24 and than Revival of Evangelion. The original ending (episodes 25-26) fucking sucked dick so just skip it. i personally didn't like the new ending either, but the series is still a classic. haven't watched anything from rebuild yet. i plan on watching it when they're all released though
