Addictive Anime

Has anyone ever watched "Yakitate!! Japan"? I used to watch it all the time. It's about baking bread (ha ha, sure that sounds weird), but it's actually pretty funny.

Other than that: Bleach, Naruto, Kenshin, Ninja Scroll, Afro Samurai, and a bunch of others.

ayo check out "time of Eve" its more of a mature anime. no hentai/ecchi.

only six 15 minute episodes but they release one every 2 months. the third one just dropped. the animation is just ASTONISHING. like wow. its on another level.

quick summery:

The future, probably Japan.
Robots have long been put into practical use, and androids have just come into use.

Influenced by the Robot Ethics Committee, it’s become common sense for people to treat androids like household appliances. Their appearance - indistinguishable from humans except for the ring over each android’s head – has lead some people to empathize unnecessarily with androids. Known as “android-holics,” such people have become a social problem.

Rikuo (Jun Fukuyama), a high school student, has been taught from childhood that androids are not to be viewed as humans, and has always used them as convenient tools. One day Rikuo discovers some strange data in the behavior records of his family’s household android.

Rikuo and his friend Masaki (Kenji Nojima) trace Sammy’s (Rie Tanaka) movements, only to discover a mysterious caf

Like I robot or something?
December 04, 2008 @ 00:14:18
not really. it mostly about ethical issues about humans and androids.

its more like A.I. than I robot.

the animation alone is more than enough reason to watch it though if your into animation and things like that.

What are some good sports anime?

I really liked Hajime no Ippo, but I'd like to see an end to the manga sometime in my lifetime.

bleach is also one of my faves wit FLCL, full metal alchemist, DBZ, Shin Chan, sometimes Naruto, pokemon(when i was younger dont front yall watched it) afro samari and would the boondocks be considered anime?

Fooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.

God I can't believe they tried to bring over a dubbed version over. Seriously Crayon Shin-chan is the epitome of Japan's crooked sense of humor and it just cannot be translated over.

I'm sure it's funny in English, but I'm sure it isn't Shin-chan.

I haven't seen the original, but I will say the english dub has had it's moments from the few times I watched it. Not sure if it was direct translation or a localized joke, but they've had some funny ones about nazis that I was suprised to hear from TV.

I find gundam 00 pretty addictive, but don't know if others will. I was just waiting for code geass r2 to end (series seemed so dumb to me), and was pretty happy when it did so that season 2 of 00 would start. Not watching anything else, but would consider continuing zetsubo sensei from where I left off when I was still in school, something just very enjoyable about that one to me.

i really like animes that are 1 - 2 seasons long.

my only exception is dragonballz.... i loved that show as a child, just didnt want it to end, and when it did, it hurt coz i "lived" with those characters for so long, only for them to go on to db-gt (which i thot was horrible).

anywho, my faves are
cowboy bebop
evangelion
chobits
mahoromatic
love hina

WHAT? How can you say that when they're having a new Beyblade series (honestly been waiting on this since I was a kid), Sengoku Basara anime adaptation, and DBZ remaster????? Gonna be EPIC.

GUNDAM 00 MOVIE NEXT YEAR!
March 30, 2009 @ 00:17:57
i skimmed through, and I didnt' see very much FULL METAL ALCHEMIST, or FULL METAL PANIC! Monster was also the shit! Hunter x Hunter was sweet! Beck is one of my favs. For sports anime, other than ippo i liked the live action of H2 for some reason lol. Everything else was pretty much mentioned.
March 30, 2009 @ 00:49:39

March 30, 2009 @ 03:34:11
Samurai fucking champloo

shit got me into Anime. it was perfect for me. The music, the hip-hop element, the action, the humor. it's the shit. I wish they continued the series. I still watch some episodes over once in awhile.

Right now, I'm watching One Piece. Hella late on it, only on episode 21. Death Note was fucking great too. But Samurai Champloo won my heart
March 31, 2009 @ 13:23:38
