i finally got caught up with this show. i went on a bender and watched every episode in like 4 days.

and if anybody else did the kinda of stuff don does on this show I'd think he's an absolute prick, but I still love him (no homo) and idk why. And i know the whole divorce thing is almost entirely his fault with all the stuff he's done but i can't help but think that Betty is a gaping cunt. I hope Sally brutally murders her or something. Or things dont work out with that Henry prick and she comes groveling back to Don and HE brutally murders her. idk i hope she ends up having to turn tricks to get by

betty is immature, superficial and a bad mother. it's hard to see how don ever loved her beyond her trophy wife exterior. the thing that made this episode so good -- like the other california episodes -- is that he gets to be dick, without work, without having to even come home and not be relaxed, and he has someone who loves him unconditionally.

so to hear she was dying of fucking bone cancer... she has to know, innit? she would know SOMETHING was wrong if it was terminal. i think she was playing along.

and i think don hasn't fucked joan because they're close in age and she has a way about her that wouldn't allow that to happen with someone like don, an entirely different animal from roger. she knows him too well, and we saw how old-fashioned don's romancing is. the niece wasn't having it, AT ALL. and that other blonde from the first episode was playing a new game, also.

i feel like this is the beginning of the end of don. at a certain point in season 3, he might have reached his peak.

yeah i feel you, joan isn't young and insecure like the other girls he's fucked with. and i feel Don falling off too. like what was that with the prostitute slapping him? it was weird as hell. he's definately unstable like when he went off on those evangelical bikini salesmen. i just hope he takes out all his rage on betty at some point in the future
