I'm saying I think it could happen. Walt Jr. somehow gets wrapped up in it and dies or some shit.

I really think that's too cliche for the writers to even get close to.

YOU ARE NOT THE GUY!

and, wtf was Walts 'genius' motive at the dinner party anyway?

Walt has always craved the credit his chemistry deserves. He didn't like the idea of Hank giving Gale the credit for the blue meth when it was his invention when he knew he was a better chemist than Gale. His pride in his work has pretty much set the collision course for his downfall. This has always been bubbling at the surface. From my perspective Walt resents never following through with his chemistry and is using meth production as a way of finally getting recognition for the brilliant mind he is. He simply doesn't care right now that it's illegal. The recognition of making the best meth ever is more important.

By the way, here's an interesting perspective. There's a book called "If it's purple someone's going to die". It's a concept that color represents a lot in visual story telling. Purple is often used by cinematographers and producers to convey death. If you all noticed when Walt was pouring the wine in Hanks kitchen, everything around him was purple. I don't think this was at all in unintentional as it's just to obvious. I think a lead character is going to die at the end of this season.

Finally just my perspective on Jessie and Gus's motives. I think Gus would prefer Walt out of the picture and sees him more of a liability than Jessie, despite Jessies drug problems. I think his set in motion Jessie to take over from Walt as the lead.

^^THAT...WAS DOPE!
....I hate Skyler. Interesting to see Mike and Jesse becoming cool even if it might be temporary.

Walter's speech to Skyler was so awesome

"You clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in: I am not in danger, Skyler. I am the danger. A guy opens his door and gets shot, and you think that of me? No! I am the one who knocks!"

Tonight's episode was the best of the season in my opinion. I want to see Gus go after the guys that are ripping him off, that's going to be intense.

Im siding with skyler more and more each episode. Walt keeps doing dumb shit.

And gus is a fucking genius cause he knew that even if walt did explain to jesse what gus and mike were doing, hed still look like an asshole.

And did anyone else find that scene with jesse and those meth heads kinda unnerving? Idk that shit creeped me out

definitely the best ep of the season

Anyone else LOL when Walt convinced those cleaning ladies to help him wash all the meth equipment? I like that they still put funny shit like that in an overall serious drama, helps lighten the mood every once in a while.

Walt is a classic example of "book smart guy, no common sense." That's why he and Jesse are such a good team because Jesse has street smarts.

walt is stupid. he had to know that gus wouldnt stand for those women to see the meth lab. i was just shaking my head thru that entire scene. this of course goes back to what was just said about walt having no common sense.

if he wasn't exactly claiming responsibility for gale, he at least just told skylar he was a murderer.

fuckin loved that scene. skylar is dumb for making up the gambling story in the first place without consulting walt. it's so easy to unravel.

Exactly. It does seem like she's trying to take charge over everything though.

We all think Skylar's a bitch because Walt's a bad ass and we relate to him as a man. Skylar is trying to keep shit together though. Sure she over steps and doesn't know what she's talking about sometimes but who doesn't? It's a woman's nature to try to take care of her husband and family but the circumstance and her delivery makes her look like a bitch.

even before the meth she was a bitch. the pilot, remember how controlling she was?

to be fair, walt is the same, but they don't suit each other i don't think. it should be opposites, not duplicates.

also, she fucked ted. what does marriage even mean to her? whenever things don't go her way, she drives off or otherwise shuts out walter. he's an egomaniac and isn't cooking for his family, but he never cheated. what happened to "stand by your man"?

Walt has common sense, but more than common sense he has an EGO that overrides that sensibility. Every time someone insults his ego he loses that common sense and he turns into 'Heisenburg' and has to go all badass on everyone.

every episode, great quotes

"someone has to protect this family from the man that protects this family"

i like how he used the dollar and bought a soda, with that idgaf attitude.

also if Gus doesnt plan on retaliating with what Mike was considering what are they going to do? seems like every delivery gets hijacked and people/product get took. and i am very interested to see how the tables turn on Jesse and that whole 'helping out Mike' situation

sundays cant come soon enough...

When they got jacked for their shit last episode it seems like they barely got any of their product taken. I'm guessing the guys targeting Gus are from the cartel of the boss he tipped the feds off to in Season 3. So he's just trying to move calculated right now.
