Probably when Mad Men does it's mid season break...

mad men don't do midseason breaks son, 13 in a rowwwwwwwww. and there's usually a lil break from when MM finishes in like june to mid-late july when breaking bad starts. no date has been confirmed tho

Jesse has become really likeable though, unlike Christopher. But I'm thinking Walt will be at odds with the Aryan Nation thanks to Todd and his uncle Jack, and that might get a lot of people killed around Walt.

that's a good point. pretty much everyone, chris especially, was sympathetic to begin with on the sopranos. one of the last things i remember chris doing (involving his NA guy) was so despicable, it was like a reminder of what a bad guy he is. like irredeemably.

breaking bad has kinda gone the other way? like a lot of people were annoyed with jesse when the show started (i always liked him) and people are still split on walt. and this show is so much about people changing that anything could happen. but dramatically it's not interesting if walt dies imo.

you were definitely supposed to start off hating jessie and liking walt. throughout the seasons you begin to notice jesse is actually a good kid just caught up in the wrong situation, where as maybe walt had this heisenberg persona in him all along but really had no outlet for it to "shine"

Walt will die for sure. The writers have basically confirmed that. If you think about it, he's a had a death sentence all along. Before we thought his enemies might kill him, we thought he'd die of cancer. One way or another, its pretty much the "destiny" of his character.

I think the only question is who else are they going to kill. I could see anyone going, really... Hank, Skylar, Walts kids, Jesse. I think the most interesting will be what they decide to do with Jesse. So far he's been a pretty tragic character. Are they going to let him overcome in the end and live, or kill him off just when he was turning his life around like a true tragic character?
