did anyone else think Jesse's phone call when he was freaked out by Walt's whistling was weird? I haven't seen any reviewers going over it or anything, but he says something like "I'll be right there." Who could he be saying that to? I'm thinking it pretty much has to be either badger/pete or he secretly is hanging out with his gf again.

I thought it was pretty obvious he was talking to Mike...

I think Jesse's right, Todd is a whackjob. He kept that kid's tarantula as a souveneir. I have a feeling Todd is gonna murder one of them, and since Walt and Jesse are pretty much guaranteed for Season 6, I'm thinking Mike is gonna get it.

I thought it was a 16 episode season 5 split into two parts, I think that's why some people are calling the next 8 season 6 and others are calling it season 5.

damn, the build-up from season 1 to season 4 was so crazy, season 5 feels like they're just going through the motions trying to tie up loose ends and prolong the inevitable. We know Walt makes it a little longer cause of the first scene (kind of a throwback to the opening of season 1), but 5 is all focus on like his psychological deterioration n sh*t and destruction, not preservation of life, ya know?

I'm rewatching the series with my friend cause he hasn't seen it. After watching older episodes I'm amazed Hank hasn't connected the dots to Walt a lot sooner. There's so many things pointing arrows to Walt. The gas masks should have been a big indicator for example.

Also I love in this show how the music completely contrasts the mood of what's physically happening in the show. After Walt walks out from Tuco's building and when the RV is getting crushed just to name a few examples
