I really want this show to go back to season 1 and 2 aka The Good Life. I hope next season is like season 3A. Its time to go back to the good its been negative for the past 2 seasons.

I like the negative shit, it shows the true side to the characters and how they really are.

i like how they went from Vince having everything to nothing. how good of a show would it be if they always were living the good life. this sets the show up for him getting back on top

This is a bit of a stretch, but I'm guessing next season, Vince returns to the big leagues after maybe getting a deal in the season finale.

I know but now its getting to negative we can use a season like that. In season 1 they were living the good life but vince couldn't find a movie until the second to last episode. If next season is something like that were they party and shit but still have a problem I think it will be the best season.

its set... i wouldn't be surprised if they get a call saying the movie is back on. The studio has dropped way to much money on it to quit.... and E's writer hicks are gonna be hell mad!

Don't be surprised if Michael Phelps makes an appearance in next weeks ep.

Ari flies in to the 'Smokejumpers' set.
Song: Dignity
Artist: The Heavy

In other news, Jerry (Turtle) asked for his character to be named Sal as a tribute to a friend of his that died at a young age.

2 times.

but yea I think it was about time that they flipped the script for real on the show. You could only have so many episodes with "well we are rich lets get turtle some new $20,000 dollar shoes" tip. . .
I think either vince is going to get with billy again, or a really big director. Like tarantino or something. . . hopefully. . . lolz.

I liked how they ended it on a high note, but they should have kept E and Vince split up. That would have been crazy if Vince asked E to be his manager again and E said no since Bow Wow is blowin up.

+ Jamie's dirty talk was damn sexy.

^^i agree...they shouldve kept E and vince separated jsut to keep the drama until nex year.

but it was still a good finale nonetheless.

This finale was too safe. I'd rather see Vince bust his ass next season. Hell, have him do some plays and other random acting gigs. This felt like the season 2 finale.

Pretty good episode but also pretty predictabe. Almost every damn finale has ended like this since the series started. I'm not sure if anything is really wrong with the new episodes, it's just that familiarlty has et in with the boys. We know what they're gonna say and do and how everything will eventually end. Theres no surprise or suspense with any of this stuff anymore. Happens to any series that sticks around long enough I guess.

Yeah but is the show's aim surprise or suspense? If you're looking for that I suggest 24 or Battlestar Galactica or something. Its a comedy show, it makes you feel good, makes you laugh, not trying to put your psyche through twists and turns. I personally thought once he got Smoke Jumpers things would be fine, and the rest of the season would be about that. Now you have them back in NY, and I'm hoping they film some episodes there, and we can see how Vince does, maybe even an Oscar, who knows.

Vince has already been struggling for a while now, by this time I think most actors would either fall off the map or get a comeback film. Remember, he was in the highest grossing movie of all time, so its inevitable that he would comeback eventually.

Yeah but you're taking when I say suspense or surprise way too literally, or at least you're construing it to mean that Im talking about an action thriller or a drama. Of course we all know it's a comedy show, that doesnt mean we should be able to predict exactly whats going to happen from scene to scene. All I mean is that predictability is a negative in any show no matter the genre. By suspense I mean...what keeps you going back...what's going to happen differently. Apparently nothing. And, I mean maybe we should come to expect that from how the show has been going. But I mean come on, things get wrapped up all too easily, neatly and very fast with a cheesy group hug at the end? I'be been one of the biggest advocates for the show through the seasons, but I also realize that ideas may be running thin as the rise and fall only to rise again theme has been exhausted from season to season. Besides the acting and dialouge of the show the writing has always been the best part. It seems to be recycling itself now.
