Christine was still under the impression that she was going to be redeeming herself to her father at that time. When she realized that her dad blamed everything on her for fucking things up, she was a mess emotionally, and started to crack.

That would make sense except for the fact that even in previous episodes she was shown to be weak. I just had a hard time believing that.

That was horrible. I hate this show now. The first season was so great. What the hell happened?

The Trinity killing was so anti-climatic.

I'd argue that the only end-of-season kill that hasn't been anti-climactic was Brian's, back in good old season one, when Dexter's more frowned upon characteristics weren't glossed up so we'd like him better.

Exactly. I found Dexter more likable back when he was a sociopath. All these emotions are really killing the show.

I also really miss Doakes. He was my favorite character.

Fuck, just watched the finale.

I was gonna watch it later this week but maaad people were trying to spoil it for me so had to watch it ASAP.

I thought the episode was pretty good and overall the season was excellent. I've decided to lay down my qualms with the some of the decisions the writers have made because regardless of what I think they've managed to tell quite a convincing story.

finale was great. i agree the trinity killing was sort of meh, but the final death caught me totally off guard and thus was excellent.

i'm not sure how i feel about dexter getting all these emotions, i think they might have taken it that direction to make it more dramatic when he goes nuts next season.
