Season started off slow, picked up in the middle and was great, then the finale ending was gay.

Weakest season so far. Season 6 most likely being the last season is promising, Dexter getting caught or killed cheahh, should be interesting.

It wasn't the weakest season...it just ended off weak. Imo it would have just been crazy if it ended with Dexter having a normal life.

wow, hopefully that doesn't fuck up the show...their chemistry as brother and sister is a huge component. as for this season, i didn't think it was so bad. i really don't understand why everyone was upset with the finale, in order to keep the show going there has to be more shitty stuff piled onto Dexter...can't wait for next season. it's been so long since i watched the first seasons that i'm about to download those and go through it all again

some of you may know that the showrunner on dexter from the very beginning left at the end of season 4 (perhaps explaining the game-changing ending). another guy took over this year. well, he just quit and another guy has taken his place. nise.
