kill bill 3 and 4 is suposed to be based on the uma thermans daughter and that other girl getting revenge.. yeah.

November 17, 2007 - The cast of Warner Bros.' live-action Justice League of America movie is expected to be unveiled next week, but new reports claim to reveal several actors who have been cast in the George Miller-directed project.

According to both Ain't It Cool News and IESB.net, previously reported contenders Adam Brody (The O.C.), Common (American Gangster), Teresa Palmer (Wolf Creek) and Scott Porter (TV's Friday Night Lights) have won roles in the film. Brody is said to be playing Wally West, a.k.a. The Flash, opposite Common as John Stewart, the Green Lantern.

IESB says that, contrary to earlier reports, Palmer is not going to play Wonder Woman but rather one of the film's villains, Talia Al Ghul. Talia is the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul, portrayed by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins.

AICN claims Porter might be playing Superman, but IESB counters by saying, "our sources are telling us that he was up for the role of The Flash against Adam Brody and obviously Brody won out, we've heard nothing about him being cast as Superman."

Barry Allen, the original Flash, is reportedly in the movie. Might Porter have been cast as him instead of Wally West? Or perhaps he's playing Batman? We'll know soon enough.

AICN's source also adds that "Michael Gough might be appearing as Alfred." Gough played Batman's faithful butler in the Tim Burton-Joel Schumacher Bat-films.

November 16, 2007 - Columbia Pictures has opted to delay the start of filming on its Da Vinci Code follow-up Angels & Demons, which was to have started shooting this February in Europe. Ron Howard is attached to direct from a screenplay adaptation of the Dan Brown book by Akiva Goldsman. Tom Hanks has been set to reprise his role as symbologist Robert Langdon.

In a statement from the studio provided to DeadlineHollywoodDaily.com, "With the strike nearing its third week, Columbia Pictures has postponed production of Angels & Demons. While the filmmakers and the studio feel the screenplay is very strong, we do not believe it is the fully-realized production draft required of this ambitious project."

"At this time, there is no new start date for Angels & Demons, but we are setting a release date of May 15, 2009 and are hopeful to deliver the movie worldwide to theaters on that date. We do not expect any other film on our 2008 slate to be affected."

No word yet on what Howard or Hanks will do as their next project instead.

David R. Ellis (Final Destination 2) has signed to direct and develop Final Destination 4, the latest installment of New Line's popular horror series, which the studio plans to shoot in 3-D.

While plot details for "FD4" are being kept under wraps, the movie will stand alone: It will feature new teens facing new forms of death.

The script was written by Eric Bress, who co-wrote Final Destination 2.

The "Final Destination" films have been solid performers for New Line since they debuted in 2000. The first film grossed $53.3 million, the 2003 sequel made $46.5 million and the third, released in 2006, collected $54 million.

Sienna Miller is the first actor to enlist in Paramount Pictures' big-budget tentpole G.I. Joe, reports Variety.

The British actress will play the film's female lead, described as a raven-haired baroness and sexy femme fatale skilled in espionage.

Stephen Sommers directs the live-action film based on the Hasbro toys, comic book and TV series.

Paramount, which has set a mid-February start date, has slotted the film for an August 7, 2009, release.

The story is set at Brussels-based GIJOE, an acronym for the Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, and revolves around an international co-ed force of operatives who use high-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil org headed by a Scottish arms dealer.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers) is producing alongside Hasbro's Brian Goldner.

According to the New York Post, Naomi Watts will star opposite Tom Hanks in director Ron Howard's Angels & Demons, the prequel to The Da Vinci Code.

The film was delayed late last week due to the writers strike and is now scheduled to hit theaters on May 15, 2009.

Dan Brown's "Angels & Demons," published in 2000, introduced the Robert Langdon character played by Tom Hanks in "Code." In "Angels," Langdon's character tries to solve a murder and unravel a plot by an ancient group, the Illuminati, to blow up the Vatican during a papal conclave.

Moviehole is reporting that Jordana Brewster is in talks to reprise her role of Mia Toretto in The Fast and the Furious 4.

Mia was the sister of Dominic (Vin Diesel) and the love interest of undercover agent Brian (Paul Walker).

The site says that in the film, set to be directed by Justin Lin, Brian is freed from prison (the authorities found out that he let Diesel go at the end of the first film) to help the feds stop a heroin importer known as Braga.

Christian Bale (The Dark Knight, Batman Begins) has been cast as John Connor in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, says Ain't It Cool News.

McG is directing the summer 2009 release, which has an early 2008 production start and seeks to reinvent the cyborg saga with a storyline to be told over a three-movie span. Warner Bros. will distribute domestically.

The screenplay was written by Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines duo John Brancato and Michael Ferris.

The film is set in the future, in a full-scale war between Skynet and humankind.

It looks like the Wachowski brothers ("The Matrix" trilogy) are filming their Speed Racer adaptation with all green screen sets. Empire Online talked to star Emile Hirsch, who broke the news:

"Nope, it's all green screen," Hirsch told us. "There were no sets, just us and the green background. I haven't seen anything of it finished yet, there was a lot of trust [in the Wachowskis] involved. It's going to be crazy. Was the monkey real? Yes."

The Warner Bros. release, hitting theaters on May 9, also stars Christina Ricci, Matthew Fox, Susan Sarandon, John Goodman, Kick Gurry, Paulie Litt, Roger Allam, Ji Hoon Jung, Melvil Poupaud, Richard Roundtree and Christian Oliver.

he should avoid it, terminator screams cheese now, maybe if they dropped "4" from the title he should consider it, but he can do so much more, say bye to the oscar if he accepts this role..

Speed Racer is All Green Screen

The internet is awash with rumours that there maybe a third X-Men spinoff planned; based around the character Juggernaut and starring Vinnie Jones.

The speculation started wehen director Joe Carnahan hinted he might be taking charge of the project on his personal blog. He signed off an entry with a picture of the Marvel Super-villain and words "I'll let you guys go nuts on this one..." (Read the entry here.) Suffice to say, many fanboys have.

At present this is the only information we have - the director and Jones, who played the character in X-Men 3 - have not commented on the rumour.

Carnahan made his name with the tense 2002 cop thriller Narc, whilst his most recent project was the flashy action flick Smokin' Aces.

Jones meanwhile shot to fame as a tough-tackling midfielder for Leeds United and Wimbledon football teams. He switched to acting when he retired, finding a modicum of success in hard-man roles such as those in Lock, Stock and Two smoking Barrels and Snatch.

At present there are already two X-Men Spinoffs in the works - Magneto, which follows the Sir Ian Mckellen's super-villain, and Wolverine, with Hugh Jackman reprising his role as the be-clawed hero.

Lionsgate has set a September 12, 2008 release date for the Lexi Alexander-directed Punisher: War Zone, starring Ray Stevenson, Dominic West, Doug Hutchinson, Colin Salmon, Wayne Knight, Dash Mihok and Julie Benz.

In the action-thriller, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor director Rob Cohen has posted the official synopsis for the anticipated third installment on his Blog for the production:

New Line Books Friday the 13th, 2009

New Line Cinema has set the release date for the new Friday the 13th movie for, appropriately, February 13, 2009. The revamp of the Jason Voorhees franchise will be directed by Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) from a script by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift.

Platinum Dunes' Friday the 13th project. What do you lable it? Remake? Re-launch?

After speaking to a source close to the project who wishes to stay outside of the spotlight (for now), we're striking the former term out of future reports on the film.

"It's not a remake," says our insider. Don't even expect an origin tale - as some production listings around Hollywood are pegging it as. Imagine if there was a story to be told somewhere between parts two and four, just add water (from Camp Crystal Lake, duh), insert a leaner, meaner, faster Jason Voorhees, set to "blend" and you've got the recipe for what Dunes, writers Damian Shannon and Mark Swift and director Marcus Nispel got cookin'.
