But then my friend reminded me that the show goes on even though Carell left.
Meh, I can't imagine the show being any good without Carell unless Ricky Gervais is manager.

word i feel you, michael was so important to that show but i find james spader's character interesting. I can see a lot of funny interactions between his character and Dwight.

Hopefully it can be funny without Carell, guess we'll just have to see

idk about downhill but spiritually him leaving felt like a good ending point. it'll seem aimless even if it's funny, after this. but maybe they can work towards a conclusion for everyone individually throughout the season?
